We are Yohanis and Malayka from New York! We’re a fun-loving couple whose deepest hope is to grow our family through adoption.
We’ve been married for 16 years and growing our family through adoption is something that means the world to us. We would love to share our life as a bigger family and hope that our story reaches the right person that will become a part of our adoption family!
We are parents to an adorable toddler who we know will make a great big brother one day. Hopefully soon! He loves to travel just as much as we do and the thought of adding another little one to our adventures fills us with so much excitement. We’ve been to many countries and look forward to creating more experiences as a family of four.
Since we are both music lovers that also play a few instruments. Our home is usually filled with sound, and it’s a good thing that we both have similar tastes in music which is a mix of rock, jazz, soul, reggae, and gospel.
In the summer, we enjoy taking care of our garden and venturing outside of the city to the Catskill Mountains where we have a place on the lake. Our two miniature schnauzers Salt and Peppa love hanging out in the outdoors just as much as we do. They are super smart dogs that are playful and go for all the cuddles they can get. When the weather is warm, we really take advantage of it and either fish, hike, play sports or come up with delicious food creations that we can make on the BBQ.
Every day is a new adventure and we hope to have many more with another sweet little one someday! Thank you so much for taking the time to learn more about us.
